| Club Activities |
| (a) Eco Club |
| Know thy flora project was taken up by the eco-club members. All the plants in the Vidyalaya were identified and their botanical name were displayed. A rock garden with cactus was prepared in front of the administrative block where xerophytes are grown. Students study the nature of plants and their botanical names. |

Scientific temper , curiosity and scientific aptitude was aroused in students by different activities of science club. Visit of Sh. Banarsi Lal Chawla, father of late Kalpana Chawla. The astronaut and his interaction with students had really motivated the young mind. National Science Day was celebrated on 28h Feb. 04. Indian Science Congress Association Karnal Chapter organized a science awareness programme. A Lecture was delivered by Dr. V.D. Mudgal on the topic"Role of Animals in meeting food security". Dr. R. Sahai Rtd. Director NBAGR and Dr. R.S. Gandhi gave incentives to the curious students during the question answer session. |

| Projects Undertaken |
| (a) Health, Hygiene and Cleanliness: |
| The Project covers class‑ room cleanliness & decoration, maintenance of books and note books , personal hygiene which include paring up of nails, polished shoes, proper uniform , belt, ribbon , tie etc. Medical checkup was done for all students and the follow up action required were informed to the parents. Hemoglobin content of adolescent girls students checked and proper counseling given to them. |
| (b) Spoken English : |
| Each Wednesday is observed as English day and the students as well as the teachers speak only in English on that day. A teacher is specially engaged on contractual basis to for Spoken English enhance the confidence of the students to speak in English. |
| (c) Handwriting. |
| Language teachers in Primary section have taken up the project of improving handwriting. Cursive writing is practiced and students are taught the correct formation of alphabets |
